This study aims to examine the effect of art activity through walking activity on visual art development in early childhood. After developing art activity program through walking activity, it has been conducted to the four-year-old children sixteen times for 8 weeks. The comparison and analysis of the change of the pre & post test points gained from the experiment group 20 children and the control group 20 children. The results are as follows: The art activity program through walking activity has shown significant influence on the visual art development in the area of representation, exploration, artistry.

본 연구는 산책활동에 기초한 미술활동이 유아의 미술표현 발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 산책활동에 기초한 미술활동 프로그램을 개발한 뒤 만 4세 유아에게 8주간 총 16회에 걸쳐 프로그램을 실시하고, 실험집단 유아 20명과 통제집단 유아 20명의 사전-사후검사 점수의 변화를 비교․분석하였다. 그 결과 산책활동에 기초한 미술활동 프로그램은 표상, 탐색, 예술성 영역에서 미술표현 발달에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
