The purpose of this study was to analyze body composition, aerobic and anaerobic performance capacity of college Taekwondo athletes and was to provide an important data for developing scientific training program in Taekwondo athletes. In order to achieve this purpose, 9 college Taekwondo athletes and 9 wrestlers of this study were recruited to participate. All measurements were body composition(electronic impedance), anaerobic(wngate test) and aerobic(graded exercise test) capacities. All data were analyzed using SPSS/PC 20.0 and calculated as mean and standard deviation. Comparison between these data were calculated using the independent t-test method. The results of this experiment were as follows: First, in body composition, there were no significant difference between Taekwondo athletes and wrestlers. Second, in anaerobic performance capacity, peak power(w, w/kg, p<.001), mean power(w, w/kg, p<.001) and fatigue index(%, p<.01) were observed significantly higher in Taekwondo group, respectively. Third, in aerobic performance capacity, exercise duration(second) was only significantly higher in Taekwondo group(p<.001). Additionally it seems that the study in future requires profound investigations about these results under a variety of experimental designs.
