In this study, we analyzed characteristics of contract terms in contract farming and studied relationship between contract terms and contract renewal intention. The empirical analysis based on PLS methodology showed that detailed description of roles and responsibilities in contract has positive impact on building trust and improving communication. Contract terms related to cooperation and problem resolution process also have a positive influence on communication between participants in contract farming. Provisions of contract flexibility has a positive impact on communication. Communication has a positive impact on confidence building and have a indirect positive influence on contract renewal intention. We compared the empirical results to standard contract templates commonly used in business practice and, based on the empirical analysis results, it is recommended to strengthen contract terms related to problem-solving process in the current contract template.

본 연구는 계약재배의 계약특성 조항 구체화가 파트너십을 매개변수로 하여 농가의 성과 및 재계약 의도에 미치는 영향을 분석함으로써 농가 관점에서 농산물 계약재배사업의 계약 체결 시 중요하게 생각하는 계약특성 조항을 도출하고 농산물 포전매매 표준계약서에 반영 해야 한다는 실무적 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 농산물 계약재배사업에 참여 하는 재배농가를 대상으로 구조방정식 모델의 한 형태인 PLS (Partial Least Square)을 사용 하였다. 실증 분석 결과, 계약의 역할 및 책임 조항은 신뢰 구축에, 계약의 공유 및 협력 조 항과 계약의 유연성 조항은 의사소통에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 문제해 결 프로세스 조항은 신뢰 구축 및 의사소통에는 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 의사소통은 신뢰 구축에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 신뢰 구축과 의사소통이 농가 성과 에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고, 성과가 재계약 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미 쳤다. 실증 분석 결과를 반영하여 실무적으로 농가가 가장 중요하게 생각하는 문제해결 프로 세스에 관한 계약 조항을 향후 농산물 포전매매 표준계약서에 추가할 필요가 있다.
