The purpose of this study is to raise the effectiveness of academic writing classes in college. In order to accomplish this purpose, this study investigate the applicacity of Team-Based Learning(TBL) as a effective teaching and learning method in academic writing class of college. Now, the problems of academic writing classes are as follows. First, students are misunderstanding the style o‘f academic’ writing as a discourse mode. So, second, they are not good at writing for academic studies in college. They have to understand the theory, and practice the skills of academic writing more and more. This study suggested that Team-Based Learning have the possibility as a teaching and learning method for academic writing. On theory, TBL can improve the understanding degree and writing capacity. So, as a trial, this study designed a learning model abou‘t quotatin’ based on TBL, adding individual writing exercising and cooperative intertutoring system. For raising the effectiveness of academic writing classes in college, more and more ideas are needed using TBL as a teaching and learning method.

이 글의 목적은 대학의 학술적 글쓰기 강좌의 학습 효과를 제고하는 교수 학습 방법을 모색하는 데 있다. 이 글에서는 학생들이 학술적 글쓰기를 어 려워하는 까닭을 학생들이 학술적 글쓰기의 양식적 특징을 개념적으로 충 분히 인지하고 있지 못하고 또 그 지식을 수행에 적용할 기회가 많지 않기 때문이라고 파악하였다. 따라서 개념 습득과 개념 적용을 통한 문제 해결력 향상을 지향하는 교수학습 방법인‘ 팀 기반 학습’은, 이러한 문제를 해 결하는 데 효과적인 교수학습 전략으로 활용될 가능성이 높다. 이러한 이 론적 가능성을 토대로 이 글에서는 팀 기반 학습을 활용한 글쓰기 수업 모 델을 학술적 글쓰기의 양식적 특성과 밀접하게 관련되는‘ 인용하기’ 단원 을 중심으로 제안하였다. 팀 기반 학습을 기반으로 여기에서 제안된 수업 모델은 실습과 첨삭, 협력 학습 등 대학 글쓰기 강좌에서 활용되어 온 일반 적인 교수 방법을 보완하고 강화하여 학습자의 글쓰기 수행 능력을 제고 하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 글쓰기 과정 일반으로의 확대 가능성을 검토하는 한편 다양한 문항을 개발하여 문제은행을 축적할 수 있다면, 팀 기반 학습을 토대로 하는 교수학습법은 학술적 글쓰기를 위한 효과적인 교수전략으로 자리매김할 수 있을 것이다.
