The purpose of the present study was to examine the effects of six weeks of interval weight training on Special Judo Fitness Test(SJFT) and lactate level during immediately after, 30sec, 5min, 10min, and 20min of 2min of consecutive throwing and Judo practice. For this study, 13 male collegiate elite judokas were participated and performed interval weight training consisted snatch, jerk, squat, dead lift, power clean and major judo technic for each 1min for 6week/3time per week. SJFT was markedly increased after interval training(p<.05). and we confirmed that lactate kinetic(recovery capacity) was improved through 2min of consecutive throwing and Judo practice after training application. Resting blood cortisol and creatine kinase, lactate dehydrogenase were partially changed after training which indicate that probably 6week is the starting term of interval training adaptation. These results show that interval weight training is effective to the not only judokas but also player who need multiple fitness training.
