Recently a term of “field-centered talent hiring” has appeared frequently. Small and medium-sized businesses in particular tend to put emphasis on techniques and field experiences, and thus field practice may be an important stepping stone for employment. Field practice is implemented not only by colleges focusing on practice but by universities, and recently specialized vocational high schools such as Meister high schools and industrial high schools have adopted field practice. However, the students undergoing field practice are being treated as cheap workforce rather than experiencing “education through working,” suffering in places where there are no institutional benefits because they are both workers and students. The author comprehensively examined the present state and the relevant regulations of field practice to discover the following bases for an argument. First, it is urgent to legislate regulations related to field practice. Second, insuring obligation, reflecting opinions of managers of field practice in estimation, and distribution of managers of field practice should be realized in order to secure a safe and reasonable field practice.

최근 현장중심형 인재채용이라는 말이 많이 나오고 있다. 특히 중소기업의 경우 인재채용에서 기술과 현장경험을 중시여기는 경 향이 있어 현장실습은 취업에 중요한 디딤돌이 될 수 있다. 이러 한 현장실습은 실무중심의 전문대학뿐만 아니라, 4년제 대학에서 도 많이 시행하고 있으며, 최근에는 마이스터고, 실업계고 등 특성 화고에서도 실시하고 있다. 그러나 학생들이 현장실습을 통해 ‘일 을 통한 교육’을 체험하기 보다는 값싼 노동력으로 활용되며, 근 로자와 학생 신분을 동시에 가짐에 따라 여러 가지 제도적 혜택의 사각지대에 놓이게 된다. 따라서 현장실습에 대한 현형과 관련규정을 종합적으로 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 논거를 찾아내었다. 첫째, 현장실습 관련 규정의 입법이 절실하다. 둘째, 현장실습시 보험가입의 의무화, 셋째, 현장 실습의 평가 시 현장실습관리자 의견반영, 넷째, 현장실습관리자의 배치를 통한 안전한 현장실습이 될 수 있도록 구축해야 한다. 이를 통한 안전하고 합리적인 현장실습이 이루어지도록 해야 한다.
