This research aims to look the relationship up among psychological growth environment, self-esteem, and subject quality of life of which high school-dropoutadolescents aware. The survey was conducted for ten months from October, 2012 to July,2013. Over the survey, the participants were fully told the main purpose of this research,then the data was collected by letting them administer self-report questionnaire. 82questionnaires have been used for the final analysis. Research results are as follows; First,psychological growth environment of school-dropout adolescent has a direct effect on thesubject quality of life. Second, self-esteem as a parameter effects on the psychologicalgrowth environment and the subject quality of life in direct or indirect way. Regardingthe results of this survey, some suggestions are made in order to promote commanders'better understanding on psychological and social status of school-dropped adolescents. Itwill eventually help school-dropped adolescents to sustain healthy military life.

본 연구는 군 입대 전 고등학교 학업중단 청소년들이 지각하고 있는 심리적 성장환경과 자아존중감, 주관적 삶의 질과의 관계를 알아보는 것이 목적이다. 설문조사 기간은 2012년 10월부터 2013년 7월까지 약10개월에 걸쳐 이루어졌다. 이 기간 동안 연구자는 대상자들에게 연구의 목적을 설명하고 설문지에 자기보고식 기입하도록 하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 82부의 설문지가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 연구결과, 첫째, 학업중단 청소년의 심리적 성장환경은 주관적 삶의 질에 직접적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 자아존중감이 매개변수로서 심리적 성장환경과 주관적 삶의 질 간에 직ㆍ간접적으로 영향을 미침을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 군 현장의 지휘관으로 하여금 학업중단 청소년의심리사회적 상태를 이해하고, 이들의 건강한 군 생활을 돕기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.
