Even though teenagers are said to have firm identity, taking measures to protect them is crucial and they are worth it. There are social institutions to prevent game addiction, e.g., medical treatment and policy establishment. Policies largely include legislation and programs. Shutdown and cooling-off systems are being deliberated on to enact new legislation, which should involve policies for new programs. It is important to ensure that there are no loopholes in these legislative and policy adjustments. Toward this end, the adjustment should take into consideration the possibilities of cooperating with the relevant industry and enforcing programs in practice.
