This study is looking for current states of the social economy in Chungbuk province through understanding the flow about social economy, and proposing acting process and development plan for regional vitalization. To understand about current states of Chungbuk social economy, we divided and examined the list; the social economy organization-social enterprises, town enterprises, cooperative society, community selfsufficiency centers, senior clubs and informal local community- and the group related with social economy-party organization, intermediary organization and network-. Also, we want to understand what is encountered problem in Chungbuk region based on acting process and development plan, through this research we want to contribute to empowerment of local community as new paradigm about regional development by promoting social economy.

본 연구는 최근 활발하게 대두되고 있는 사회적경제에 대한 이해와 흐름파악을 통하여 충북지역의 사회적경제 현황을 살펴보고, 지역 활성화를 위한 실천과정 및 발전방향을 제시하고자 한다. 충북 사회적경제 현황을 파악하기 위해 사회적기업, 마을기업, 협동조합, 지역자활센터, 시니어클럽, 자생적지역공동체로 분류한 사회적경제조직 현황과 당사자조직, 중간지원조직, 네트워크로 나눈 사회적경제관련 단체 현황으로 항목을 세분화하여 각각의 현황들을 검토하였다. 또한 사회적경제의 실천과정과 발전방향을 토대로 충북지역의 사회적경제조직이 직면한 과제는 무엇인지 파악하고, 본 연구결과를 통하여 지역개발에 대한 새로운 패러다임으로서의 사회적경제를 육성함으로써 지역사회의 역량강화에 기여하고자 한다.
