This study analyzes the characteristics of learning experiences in students whom participated in a class at the Education Department using ｢Teaching and Learning Method for Smart Phone Film-Making｣ in the aspect of the frequency and patterns of the core terms being used. For this, the amount of words apparent in personal journals of the students taking the class (1st semester of 2012) at S university were examined using the N-vivo program via Quantitative Content Analysis. The results are as follow. Firstly, the most frequently used words related to the general learning experience were in the order of 'movie', 'we', 'teaching profession and teacher', 'filming', and 'thought'. Secondly, the weekly learning experience resulted in students showing interest of the content and knowledge of the subject in the beginning phase and later in the middle phase shifting their areas of interest to methods of making and producing movies. Learning experience from working in small groups generally appeared to be fairly steady and continuous. Also, on the last week, the three types of learning experience appeared to be well balanced out. Thirdly, in the case of the relationship between learning experience, a connection between teamwork such as 'group work', results such as presentations, and sharing positive emotions-related learning experience took place. The term 'scene' appeared along with experiences related to school scene and teacher; and also through forming specific imageries of the teaching profession. Terms such as 'filming', 'editing' and 'progress' were illustrated while students were sharing and exposing their emotions and this showed that movie-producing activity allowed students to share emotions and feelings in their learning process. The results of this study showed an positive effect of the ｢Teaching and Learning Method for Smart Phone Film-Making｣ which is in its process of development as a new teaching and learning method in the aspects of interests and challenges from new means and ways of student expression; motivating students through differentiating learning tasks each week, and diverse experiences through student-driven small group activities. This study ultimately showed a new awareness as well as the necessity of developing a new teaching and learning method at universities.

이 연구에서는 ｢스마트폰 영화 제작 활용 교수법｣을 적용한 사범대학 수업에서 나타난 학생들의 학 습 경험의 특성을 핵심 단어의 비중과 양상 측면에서 분석하였다. 이를 위해 S대학교 사범대학의 2012년 1학기 <교직과 교사> 수강생들의 개인 저널을 양적내용분석 프로그램인 N-vivo를 사용하 여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 전반적인 학습 경험과 관련하여 가장 많이 언급된 단어는 ‘영화’였으며 ‘교사/교직’ , ‘우리’, ‘촬영’, ‘생각’ 등의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 주차별 학습 경험의 양상은 초기에는 교과 내용 및 지식에 대한 관심이 두드러지고, 중반부터는 영화 제작 방법과 활동에 집중되는 모습을 보였다. 소집단 활동 학습 경험은 수업 전반에 걸쳐 지속적으로 나타나며, 마지막 주차에는 세 가지 학습 경 험이 조화롭게 이루어지고 있는 양상을 보였다. 셋째, 이들 학습 경험 간의 관계는 ‘조’와 같은 팀 활 동은 프로젝트, 발표 등의 결과물, 긍정적인 감정의 교류 등과 관련된 경험과 연결되어 나타났고, ‘ 장면’은 학교 현장과 교사, 교직에 대한 구체적인 형상화와 관련된 학습 경험과 함께 나타났다. ‘촬 영’, ‘편집’ 등의 영화 제작 작업은 감정의 토로나 교류와 함께 언급되고 있어, 영화 제작 활동이 학 습 과정 중에 학생들의 감정과 정서를 경험하도록 함을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 새로운 교수-학습 방법으로 개발 중인 ｢스마트폰 영화 제작 활용 교수법｣이 새 로운 매체와 표현 수단에 대한 학생들의 흥미와 도전감, 주차별 학습 과제의 차별화를 통한 동기 유 발, 학생이 주도하는 소집단 활동을 통한 다양한 경험 등의 측면에서 효과가 있음을 보여주었다. 이 연구를 통해 대학에서의 새로운 교수법 개발의 필요성에 대한 인식과 함께 가능성을 확인할 수 있 었다.
