The nature and the life of Yi Sang and Lee Hyo-seok's literature

In this text, analyse embodied various symbols of works of Yi Sang and Lee Hyo-seok who colonial era writer. Purpose of this text is how they express their attitude as thinker and as intellectual at very middle of colonial era. 1930's literary men who have to endure ‘becoming civilized' and ‘reality of colonial intellectual' at the same time, made various response style. Fall into despair of intangible suppression from chilly city civilization and simultaneously hope for escape, was the one spiritual axis of any intellectual back then. While discover naturalistic icon that conflict urban civilization, Yi Sang feels an image of life that soft and abundant on hopelessness of cold geometrical world. Another colonial era writer Lee Hyo-seok constantly emphasize the strength and lifeness of physical impulse that conflict obviously between firm rationality. Their works like these are should not simply interpretate, especially matter of the ‘Apple' and appetite images are considered as important keyword for understanding their ideas. The following text treats meaning of nature, life, love on idea of Yi Sang and Lee Hyo-seok's various works like novel and essay.
