The purpose of this study was to identify a doctor’s knowledge and experiences about creating death certificate. The 157 doctors with physician's license were recruited from May 15-25 of 2013. Data collected from 157 doctor’s survey, and data were analysed using SPSS 18.0. Knowledge in creating the death certificate, the average was 2.60 points out of 4, and experiences was 2.04 points. Knowledge about creating the death certificate according to the subject's general characteristics showed statistically significant differences in the formation of the working hospital (p < 0.05), and experiences in regular education related to one's position and creating the death certificate (p < 0.1). There were no correlation in doctor's knowledge and experiences about creating death certificate(r = .00, p = .961).

본 연구는 의사의 사망진단서 작성에 대한 지식과 경험을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상 은 2013년 5월 15일 부터 2013년 5월 25일까지 의사 면허증을 소지한 157명으로 연구자가 개발한 도구 를 사용하여 설문조사 하였고 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 지식은 4점 만점에 2.60점, 경험은 2.04점으로 나타났으며 일반적 특성에 따른 지식은 근무 병원의 형태에서(p < 0.05), 경험은 의사의 직위와 사망진단서 작성에 대한 정규 교육 경험이(p < 0.1) 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보 였고 경험과 지식은 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다( r = .00 및 p=.961).
