The purpose of this study is to analyze the architectural characteristics and space compositions of golf course clubhouses in the Jeju region in order to contribute to the creation of space compositions that can satisfy clubhouse users' demands. Literature research and on-site surveys were adopted as study methods. The concept of golf course clubhouses and previous studies were grasped based on collected data and the survey subjects' general characteristics, architectural characteristics, and space composition types were analyzed. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, with regard to architectural characteristics, the location types of golf course clubhouses in the Jeju region were mostly mountain types as with golf course clubhouses throughout the country and the scales of elevation were mostly low-rise types not exceeding two stories. Second, the gross floor areas of golf course clubhouses in the Jeju region were shown to be larger than those of golf course clubhouses throughout the country. Third, as for the distribution ratios in space compositions, common use spaces showed the highest ratio and the distribution ratio of service spaces was shown to be low. Fourth, according to the results of analysis of the types of space compositions, the types of arrangement of the clubhouses were mostly cross types and combined types, the plane types were mostly branch types and the elevation types were mostly flat types.

이 연구는 제주지역 골프장 클럽하우스의 건축적 특성 및 공간구성을 분석하여 클럽하우스 이용객들의 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 공간구성 창출에 기여함을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법은 문헌연구와 현장조사를 채택하였고, 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 골프장 클럽하우스의 개념 및 선행연구를 파악하였으며, 조사대상의 일반적 특성, 건축적 특성, 공간구성유형을 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 건축특성에서 제주지역 골프장 클럽하우스의 입지유형은 전국과 동일하게 산지형이 많았고, 입면규모는 2층 이하의 저층형이 많았다. 둘째, 제주지역 골프장 클럽하우스의 연면적은 전국보다 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 공간구성의 분포율은 공용공간이 가장 높은 비율을 보이고 있었고, 서비스공간의 분포율은 낮게 나타났다. 넷째, 공간구성의 유형분석에서 클럽하우스의 배치유형은 교차형과 복합형이 많았고, 평면유형은 가지형이, 입면유형은 플랫형이 대부분을 차지하고 있었다.
