As a comparative study on human views based on the Christian world view and non-Christian world view respectively, this study puts its meaning in providing preliminary data in establishing and fulfilling identity of Christian social welfare by understanding human nature. And summary of key outcomes is as follows. The Christian world view understands human as the one that has to rely upon God, one as Image of God who has freedom and personality capable of deciding oneself, one as a sinner depraved by arrogance, one as a new creation that needs help from the Holy Spirit and efforts of human to be redeemed from misdeed and a holistic human composed of harmonized unity of spirit and body. On the contrary, non-Christian world view understands human as an animal by an accidental material combination, deterministic one controlled by external environment or spiritual domination, humanistic one that limitless growth ability and potential are inherent or a dualistic human composed of only material or spirit. Implications of this study for Christian social welfare are as follows. First, it is necessary to acknowledge Christian premise and value for establishment and desirable fulfillment of identity of Christian social welfare. Second, it is required to take a systematic effort for recovering the Image of God and extending the Kingdom of God from the viewpoint that the meaning of applying Christian premise and value is creation-fall-redemption. Third, in applying non-Christian theory and ideology to the fulfillment of social welfare, it is needed to accept selectively after thoroughly considering from Christian world view instead of accepting without wariness against them.

본 연구는 기독교 세계관에 근거한 인간관과 비기독교적 세계관에 근거한 인간관을 비교하는 연구로, 인간의 본질을 이해하여 기독교사회복지의 정체성 확립 및 실천에 있어 기초적 자료를 제공하는데 의 의를 두고 있다. 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 기독교 세계관에서는 인간을 하나님께 의존해야만 하는 피조물로서의 인간, 스스로 결정할 수 있는 자유와 인격을 지니고 있는 하나님 형상으로서의 인간, 교만으로 타락한 죄인으로서의 인간, 죄로부 터 구원받기 위해 성령의 도우심과 인간의 노력 모두를 필요로 하는 새로운 피조물로서의 인간, 영과 육의 조화로운 통일체로 구성된 전인적 인간으로 이해하고 있다. 이에 반해 비기독교 세계관은 인간 을 우연한 물질적 결합에 의한 동물로서의 인간, 외부 환경 혹은 정신의 지배에 조종당하는 결정론적 인 인간, 무한한 성장 능력과 잠재력이 내재해 있다고 보는 인본주의적 인간, 물질 혹은 정신으로만 구성되어 있다는 이원론적인 인간으로 이해하고 있다. 본 연구가 기독교사회복지에 주는 함의를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기독교사회복지의 정체성 확 립 및 바람직한 실천을 위해 기독교적 전제와 가치를 인정해야 한다. 둘째, 기독교적 전제와 가치를 적용한다는 의미는 창조-타락-구속이라는 관점에서, 하나님의 형상을 회복하고, 하나님의 나라를 확 장하기 위한 체계적인 노력을 한다는 것이다. 셋째, 비기독교적 이론 및 이념들을 사회복지실천에 적 용함에 있어 아무런 경계심도 없이 수용할 것이 아니라, 기독교적 관점에서 철저하게 고찰을 한 후 선 별적으로 수용해야 한다.
