Relation addiction is to reveal pathodological phenomena amid entering into human relationship. It explicitly posits an attempt to fill an immense voidness in the human inner mind. It is unavoidable for the human, alienated from the God, to be suffered from the eternal thirst and to be hardly filled up the self-emptiness of human inner mind, even though he strives for the objects possibly quenching for his thirst. This phenomenological hardship may be resolved by rehabiliting the vitality of self-existence through encounting with God who is in essence the origin of human existence. This paper therefore attempts to assist healing relation addiction, based on the principle of James E. Loder, who emphasizes particularly the necessity and importance of the spiritual elements of revitalization. Loder shows that God creates a conflict through human voidness so that the conflict may lead humans to the world of fourth dimension where humans recover the Image of God by transforming his personality under the light of the holy revelation of the Christ and the dynamic revelation of the Holy Spirit. This transformation moment leads us to become new creatures in the Christ and attracts us to experience a plentitude of vitality by replacing internal voidness. Loder puts an emphasis on the creative transformation in human existence mostly through encountering with transcendental God, but he neither indicate enough practical methods which bring forth the transformational moment in human personalitry change, nor suggest objective criteria with which to evaluate transformational phenomena. However we can find a clue for healing relation addiction from his creative transformation in that it indicate plausibly internal transformational process of human by way of holy encountering with God, particularly plausible to the relation addicts longing for God amid voidness.

관계중독은 관계를 맺는 일에 병리적인 현상을 보이는 것이다. 이는 인간 내면의 깊은 공허함을 채우 기 위한 시도이다. 하나님을 떠난 인간은 영원한 목마름과 갈증을 가질 수밖에 없으며, 그 갈증을 해 결해줄 수 있는 대상을 찾아서 몸부림쳐보지만 인간 내면의 빈 중심은 좀처럼 채워지지 않는다. 이러 한 현상적 어려움은 인간존재의 근원인 하나님과의 만남을 통한 존재의 생명력을 회복하는 것을 통해 그 해결점을 찾아야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 치유의 영적인 요소의 필요성과 중요성을 강조하는 제임스 로더(James E. Loder)의 논리를 중심으로 관계중독의 치유를 돕는 접근을 시도해 보고자 한다. 로더는 하나님은 인 간의 공허를 통하여 갈등을 일으키고, 그것으로 인해 우리를 4차원의 세계로 이끌어서, 성령의 역동 적인 역사를 통해 그리스도의 거룩한 계시의 빛 가운데 인격이 변화를 받아 하나님의 형상을 회복하 게 된다는 것이다. 그 변형사건은 우리를 그리스도 안에서 새로운 피조물이 되게 하며, 내면의 공허를 생명의 풍성함으로 채우는 경험으로 이끈다는 것이다. 그러나 로더는 초월적인 하나님과의 만남을 통한 인간 존재의 창조적인 변형을 강조하다 보니 변형적 사건을 가져오게 할 수 있는 실제적인 방법 제시에 있어서 미흡하고, 변형하는 현상에 대해 평가할 수 있는 객관적인 근거도 약하다. 그러나 공허 속에서 하나님을 갈망하고 있는 관계중독자에게 하나님과 의 거룩한 만남을 통한 내면의 변형을 가져오는 과정을 설득력 있게 제시해주었다는 점에서 관계중독 의 회복에 대한 실마리를 찾을 수 있다.
