This study aims to find plans to revitalize community for qualitative improvement of life, rather than one-sided facility improvement led by administration, since there is a need of a urban regeneration project for Banyeo -dong where is a political settlement. Due to the absence of parks, green areas and public facilities that are essential for a social city, most residents only stay in their houses and it causes the severance of community. As plans to improve the quality of life of residents in Banyeo-oriented, therefore, this study proposed construction of a no vehicle pedestrian-centered street environment that adopts the Slow City concept, a small city park like Ssamji Park using vacant lots and houses through building of community centers.
