As much important as the life of people is, the death also does. But, all related facilities of charnel culture has been degraded as sanitation facilities, because of lack of settled charnel culture and constant changing society in Korean modern society. Thus, under this background, the study of death and memories can be positioned as a part of our lives, the establishment of a new cemetery culture and architectural alternatives for the charnel house is proposed.
