Adolf Loos and Hiroshi hara are vey well known for their especial method of spatial composition. Even they have no common in regional background or times of works, they have shown similar focus on border surface especially in housing design. This paper invetigates the design method of those two architects focused on the similar points and also the differences of their approach to border surface in housing design.
