This study investigated the method of bibliographical description of Nupango, or an Annotated Classified Bibliography of Wood-block Printing Plates, which was edited by Pungseok Seo Yu-gu's in 1796 by the King's command, Joseon Dynasty. The bibliographical description was examined regarding title, volume number, written age, name of author, functional word of authorship, notes, and noteworthy examples. It was a limitation that indicated the lack of unity and coherence in the bibliographical description of Nupango. However, its great significance in the history of bibliographical description can be found in the fact that Seo Yu-gu established entries for annotated works based on his own methods of description.

본 논문은 조선시대에 서유구(徐有榘)가 정조의 왕명으로 편찬한 분류순 해제목록인 ｢누판고(鏤板考)｣의 목록기술방식에 대해 연구한 것이다. 목록기술은 표제, 권수, 저작시 대, 저자명, 저작역할어, 주기사항, 기타 특기할만한 목록기술사례 등으로 구분하여 각각의 특성을 살펴보았다. 이 ｢누판고｣는 상당히 통일성을 갖춘 목록기술방식을 설정하여 저록 의 엔트리를 작성하였다는 점에서 한국목록기술사 상 큰 의미를 부여할 수 있겠다.
