The purpose of this paper is to investigate Songjae Seonsaeng Munjip, the Collection of Songjae’s Work, and then to discuss the contribution of Oh Un who led its publication, in the history of printing culture. When Yi Wu was serving as a ministry of Chungju, Yi Hwang, his nephew, collected and transcribe his poems and then published them as Songjae Sijip. Oh Un, a book lover, had written and compiled many books. In surveying the printing condition of Songjae Sijip, we notice that Yi Hwang’s handwriting was exactly engraved in volumes 1 and 2, but its supplements and appendices were so roughly engraved and printed as to unfit the norms of the writer. Nevertheless, Songjae Sijip occupies very important position among Oh Un’s compilations, since it was the very first publication which was compiled by Oh Un, and therefore made him the publisher and compiler in a serious sense. Yi Wonno later collected his anscester Yi Woo’s poetry as many as he could, compiled the sequel, and published them with the original as Songjae Seonsaeng Munjip. The publication of Songjae Seonsaeng Munjip enables complete works of Yi Woo to be passed down from generation to generation. And it is important to recognize the publication of Songjae Sijip by Oh Un on its base.

본고는 ｢松齋先生文集｣을 검토하여 이 도서의 실상을 분석하고, 이 도서의 간행을 주 도했던 竹牖 吳澐의 출판문화사적 의의를 규명하고자 하는 목적에서 시도되었다. ｢松齋 詩集｣은 이우의 시집으로 이우의 조카인 退溪 李滉이 수습하여 손수 淨寫한 원본을 이우 가 충주목사로 재직할 때 간행하였다. 오운은 도서를 애호하여 여러 저술과 편찬서를 남기 고 있는 인물이다. ｢松齋詩集｣의 인쇄상태를 검토해 보면 권1과 권2는 이황의 필체 그대 로 판각하였으나 습유와 부록은 판각이 조악하고 인쇄도 정밀하지 못하여 저술가의 규례 에 맞지 못한다는 비판을 받기도 하였으나 ｢松齋詩集｣은 오운의 간행서 중에서 매우 중요 한 위치를 점유하고 있다. 그것은 이 도서가 오운이 본격적으로 간행한 첫 번째의 결과물 이기 때문이다. 오운은 이 시집의 간행을 계기로 본격적인 도서편찬 및 출판자로서의 면모 를 구비하게 된다. 후손인 이원로 등은 이우의 시문을 최대한 수합하여 속집을 편찬하고, 원집은 그대로 중간하여 ｢松齋先生文集｣을 간행하였다. 이 문집의 간행으로 인해 이우의 저술이 온전한 형태를 갖추어 전해지게 되었다. 그 바탕에 오운의 ｢松齋詩集｣ 간행이 있 었음은 중요한 사실이다.
