The purpose of this study is to investigate the specific contents of ‘Hwasheongsheongyeok’, a part of ‘Dyeongni-uigwe’, and compare them with the Classical Chinese version of Hwaseong-seongyeok-uigwe, based on the bibliographical analysis of the Korean version of ‘Dyeongni-uigwe’. ‘Hwasheongsheongyeok’ which is a part of the Hangul Uigwe is useful for understanding the patterns of translation from the original Chinese text into Hangul. It is because it provides rich information about how to write in Hangul the names of objects, places and other terms originally written in Chinese. Furthermore, it helps figure out the kinds and volumes of the original documents contained in and the original materials used to write the Hangul Uigwe. ‘Hwasheongsheongyeok’ is primarily useful as fundamental materials for the studies of bibliography and Korean history, and further for the research in diverse areas, including paleography, history, Chinese literature, and archival studies, based on its contents. In addition, it’s also valuable in that it can be used to check the new records of “Hwaseongseongyeok” not included along with the Hangul Eonhae of Hwaseong-seongyeog-uigwe, regarding the Suwon Hwaseong, the world cultural heritage of UNESCO. In the study, the researcher investigated the structure and contents of “Hwasheongsheongyeok”, and tried to organize a kind of the Hangul version of Hwaseong-seongyeog-uigwe by comparing them with the Chinese version of Hwaseong-seongyeog-uigwe, classifying the contents included in both versions, and identifyng the parts only contained in “Hwasheongsheongyeok.” Since it was not a complete book, only the parts which corresponded to the Chinese version are presented in the appendix of this study, according to the table of contents of the Chinese version.

이 연구는 한글본 ｢뎡니의궤｣에 대한 서지학적 분석을 토대로 그 내용의 일부인 ‘화셩 셩역’의 구체적인 내용 파악과 함께 한문본 ｢화성성역의궤｣와의 비교 검토를 수행하는데 목표를 두었다. 한글의궤의 일부인 ‘화셩셩역’은 한문 원문에 대한 한글의 번역양상을 파악하는데도 도움이 된다. 한자로 표기된 물품명, 지명, 각종 용어 등이 한글로 어떻게 쓰였는가를 살필 수 있기 때문이다. 아울러 한권의 한글 의궤에 수록된 原文書의 종류와 양을 파악할 수 있으며, 어떤 원자료를 통하여 한글의궤가 작성되었는가를 일부나마 확인할 수도 있다. 이는 일차적으로는 서지학, 국어사 연구를 위한 기초자료를 구축하는 데 의의가 있고, 더 나아가서는 수록된 내용들을 토대로 한 고문서학, 역사학, 한문학, 기록학 등 다양한 분야 의 연구를 가능하게 한다는 장점이 있다. 뿐만 아니라 유네스코 세계문화유산인 수원화성 에 대한 새로운 자료의 발굴로서 기존의 ｢화성성역의궤｣에 대한 한글언해와 함께 수록되 지 않은 새로운 화성성역의 기록까지 확인할 수 있다는 점에서 가치를 지닌다. 이 연구에서는 ‘화셩셩역’의 구성체제와 내용에 관한 문제를 다루고 한문본 ｢화성성역 의궤｣와의 비교를 통하여 일종의 한글본 ｢화성성역의궤｣를 구성해보는 시도를 하였다. ｢화성성역의궤｣의 한 문본과의 비교 검토를 통해서 한문본과 일치하는 내용에 대한 유형 화 및 재구성을 시도하였으며 한문본에 없이 ‘화셩셩역’에만 나타나는 내용도 살펴보았다. ‘화셩셩역’이 완질이 아니어서 비록 완전하지는 않지만 한문본과 일치하는 내용을 한문본 의 목차에 따라 배열하여 부록으로 제시하였다.
