The research about Khitan Buddhist canon to give a big help in completion of Korea new carved Buddhist canon was quite fragmentary because of printed book and relation recording did not transmit almost. Therefore, It could be limited the fact which is incorporated in Korea new carved Buddhist canon and superiority of contents. Hyejo went to Sung country by royal order at King Yejong in Korea Dynasty Period and came to buy three copies of Khitan Buddhist canon. Later about 160 years, three copies of Khitan Buddhist canon were enshrine three places that Jeonghye temple, Haein temple and House of Heogong. I investigated about Khitan Buddhist canon which is enshrined to the Jeonghye temple along with servants document in Sooseon temple and Wongamgooksajib. Wongamgooksa Choongji began to supplement the lacks of Khitan Buddhist canon from Seonwon temple of Ganghwa Island. The supplement work has come to an end at last at Jeonghye temple of Sooncheon. And Complete Khitan Buddhist canon was enshrined in the Sooseon temple of Sooncheon at 1278 years. Sooseon temple were stationed the exclusive responsibility man for preservation and founded "Bo" for a maintenance fund. As a result, I could confirm that Khitan Buddhist canon recording of the Samgukyoosa was a truth.

고려 고종 때 고려신조대장경의 완성에 큰 도움을 주었던 단본대장, 곧 요본대장에 대한 연구는 인본이나 관련기록이 거의 전하지 않는 탓으로 아주 단편적이었다. 그러므로 고려신조대장경에 편 입된 사실, 경문의 우수성 등에 한정될 수밖에 없었다. 이 연구에서는 예종 때 혜조국사가 왕명을 받들어 서역, 곧 송나라에 가서 3부의 요본대장을 사 가지고 왔고, 이 요본대장이 1281-1283년 경 에 정혜사, 해인사, 허참정댁 등 3곳에 분치 봉안되어 있다는 삼국유사의 기록을 중시하였다. 이 기 록 중에서 정혜사에 봉안되어 있다는 요본대장의 실체에 대해 송광사(수선사)에 전하는 노비문서와 충지의 문집인 원감국사집 등을 살피니 삼국유사의 기록이 사실이었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 곧 원 감국사 충지는 강화의 선원사에서부터 요본대장의 빠진 부분을 보수하기 시작하여 순천 계족산 정 혜사에서 보수를 완성하자 1278년 11월 순천 조계산 수선사에 봉안하였던 것이다. 수선사에서는 이 요본대장의 관리를 위해 전담인력을 두었고, 보를 설치하여 그 비용을 충당하는 등 매우 정성을 다 하였음을 알 수 있었다.
