In this thesis the writer aims at proposing a Jeonnam version of dialect vocabulary in beginning level Korean. This is necessary as a minimum requirement to settle difficulties caused by dialects that both married immigrant women in Jeonnam province and Korean instructors who teach them have been suffering from. To accomplish this purpose, first of all, she investigates general situations of married immigrant women and their difficulties, especially caused by dialects, which they are experiencing. She then goes forward listing the forms in Jeonnam dialect after extracting a standard language word list satisfying the selection criteria. Beginning level vocabulary of standard Korean is selected as follows: 2,020 vocabularies extracted from Married immigrants and Korean together 1∼2(for beginners) undertaken by the National Institute of the Korean Language and My mom's Korean Language published by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, 1,038 vocabularies presented by Chil-sung Im in The selection of preliminary Educational Vocabulary of Korean Language Teaching, first and second level 833 vocabularies from Linguistic Questionnaire for Investigation of Altaic Language, and first and second level 500 vocabularies among the word list in linguistic survey made by the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa to survey languages. All of those vocabularies being added, it becomes 4,391, among which duplicated ones are taken off, and then it remains 2,972 vocabularies of standard language. Making use of Jeonnam Dialect Dictionary to find the dialect version of those vocabularies, this study gets to the point where 1,204 vocabularies of the dialect version exist. Among these again to the exclusion of vocabularies which have a very slight difference from standard language, this study reaches the final 714 vocabularies of the dialect version. This study goes further to classify the proposed 714 vocabularies of the dialect version into four categories in reference to the construction of Regional Dialect Investigation Questionnaire and even further to discuss application plan for them briefly.

이 연구에서는 한국어 초급 어휘의 전남방언형을 제시하였다. 이것은 전남지역에 거주하는 여성결혼이민자와 그들을 지도하는 한국어 교사들이 방언으로 인해 겪는 어려움을 해소하기 위한 최소 요건으로서 필요한 것이 다. 이를 위해 먼저 여성결혼이민자의 일반적인 상황과 그들이 겪는 어려움, 특히 방언으로 인한 어려움을 개 략적으로 살펴본 후, 전남방언 어휘를 선정하기 위해 기준이 될 표준어 어휘 목록을 먼저 추출하였다. 국립국어원에서 기획한『결혼이민자와 함께하는 한국어』1∼2(초급용)와 농림부에서 발간한 『우리 엄마의 한국어, My mom's Korean Language』에서 추출한 2,020어휘, 임칠성(2002)이 「초급, 한국어 교육용 어휘 선정 연구」에서 제시한 1,038어휘,『알타이 언어 현지 조사 질문지』의 1,2등급 833어휘, アジア·アフリカ 언어문화연구소에서 언어 조사를 위해 만든『언어조사표』의 어휘항목 중 1,2등급 500어휘를 모두 합한 4,391어휘 중 중복된 어휘를 덜어내고 남은 2,972어휘를 한국어 초급 표준어 어휘로 선정하였다. 선정된 표준어 어휘를『전남방언사전』을 이용하여 방언형을 찾은 결과 1,204어휘의 방언형이 존재했다. 이 가운데 표준어와 방언의 차이가 극히 미미한 어휘를 제외하고 최종적으로 714어휘의 방언형을 『지역어조사 질문지』의 구성을 참고로 하여 네 부류로 분류하여 제시하고 그것의 활용방안에 대해 간략하게 논하였다.
