This paper seeks the activation plan of network between community and school by analyzing cases of successfully operating community and school network structures. The network among community, school and household is divided into four categories which are communication network, transformation network, information network and location network. Construction of the network enables interconnection of institutes, organizations and facilities of lifelong education and joint ownership of human and material resources for each individual within a community and it enhances effectiveness of business plans related to lifelong education. The educational role of community is to let people acquire knowledge of real life experiences and connect learning and such experiences. There are programs to connect a community and school such as educational welfare action zone project started from 2002 and the Saturday school program began in 2012. The cases promoting the network of community and school run by schools themselves are school volunteering programs, using closed school facilities for the purpose of community learning, managing schools as lifelong learning institutes and the education & human resource development belt project. In order to activate the network of community and school, improvement of outside school education quality, providing resources map to each school and developing the existing systems are all necessary. Also, it is essential to promote practical use of complementary human resources and supporting transportation of students for outside school activities.

본 논문은 지역사회와 학교와의 네트워크 구축 기제와 실질적으로 작동하는 지역사회 네트워크 실태 및 사례 분석을 통하여 지역사회와 학교의 네트워크 활성화 방안을 모색한다. 지역사회와 학교, 가정의 네트워크 형성은 인적, 사업, 정보, 공간 등 4가지 네트워크로 구분할 수 있다. 네트 워크 구축은 학교와 지역사회의 인적, 물적 자원을 유기적으로 연계하는 것으로 , 이러한 연계는 구체적 사실 을 확인하여 실생활과 연결된 산지식을 체득할 수 있으며, 생활 경험이 학습과 연결되며, 사회의 다양한 자료 를 활용할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 지역사회와 학교를 연계하기 위한 사업으로 2012년부터 실시하고 있는 가정과 사회가 함께하는 토요학교가 있으며, 학교별로 운영하고 있는 특화 시업도 진행되고 있다. 지역사회-학교와 연계한 네트워크를 활성화하기 위해서는 학교 밖 교육활동의 질을 제고하고, ‘지역 자원지도 ' 작성하여 일선 학교에 제공하며, 지역자원 활용·연계 강화를 위한 제도적 근거를 강화할 필요가 있다. 아울 러 교육활동 지원을 위한 보조인력의 활용을 늘리고, 학교 밖 활동을 위한 학생 이동을 지원할 필요가 있다.
