This paper is to investigate children’s social behavior related to platform of R-learning using robots. For this study, 137 children from three-year-old to five-year-old in the kindergartens were participated and they were classified into two groups. Each children group was intended to play with only one robot, iRobiQ or Genibo. Following Lee(1995), we observed their ‘free choosing activities’ during six weeks with recording the frequency of their social behavior in the first, third, and fifth week for three times. We find that there is no difference between the iRobiQ group and the Genibo group in terms of social behavior of children. In addition, while children’s positive social behavior increases with their age, declining negative social behavior was observed for five-year-old children, regardless of the robot type in platform.

본 연구는 플랫폼에 따른 유아의 사회적 행동을 밝히고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 유아교육기관에서 아이로비Q 로봇과 제니보 로봇을 활용하고 있는 만 3, 4, 5세 유아 137명이다. 유아의 사회적 행동을 측정하기 위해 이경희(1995)의 연구도구를 수정, 보완하였으며, 유아의 사회적 행동 관찰을 위해 6주 동안 총 3회 1, 3, 5주차에 사회적 행동 관찰 빈도 체크를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 로봇 플랫폼에 따른 유아의 사회적 행동은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 로봇 플랫폼에 관계없이 유아의 연령에 따라 사회적 행동은 긍정적 행동의 경우 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 부정적 행동은 만5세에 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.
