At the latter term of Chosun, Longing Poem were continuously created. Park, Je-ga was consecutively made Longing Poem. Through ｢ Semo Longing Poem｣ 17poem of 5words 12phrases, Lee, Jung-ha(1846~1917) also introduced 17 people of the day at extension. Lee, Jung-ha made Longing Poem that in 1912. But, the characters of Longing Poem were all the lamented. At the latter term of Chosun, The characters of the following longning Poem, were lived of the day. But, Lee, Jung-ha had inimitable aspect that did compensation for the deceased. Lee, Jung-ha’s Longing Poem too almost principal content that associated with the characters and looked back on sentiment. The characters directly experienced Gabshin-year Coup, Gabo reform, and Eulmi Incident, kyungsul disgrace to the nation. At Lee, Jung-ha’s longing Poem, It was put into phases of confused times. And It was simply delineated about their politics work that the bureaucracy of the day. Lee, Jung-ha was a man that actively participated in civilization. At his longing poem, Kim, Byung-si, Shin, Ki-sun and Song, Baek-ok were characters that was appeared a conservative position than civilization. moreover, Jung, Bum-so and Jo, Byung-ho propelled civilization at the position of racialism that judged native benefit at the first. and Kim, Hong-gib was the heart of the civilization. Naturally, This was began an individual friendship. But, He introduced that was different from inclination at the Longing poem. and than He simply mentioned about their politics work. It mean that looked positive their eyes. They summed up multilateral their effort that overcome disarranged national administration. In addition, It was produced counterevidence that was connected from their politics work to their intense patriotism. Lee, Jung-ha’s Longing poem appeared that he declared close friend of the day. And through Poem, he heaved a sigh that their adversity. But, their adversity gave attention to not only caused by individual dimension but also connected phases of confused times. After all, He tried to broke the deadlock from different angles. But, He died that was not rewarded for his efforts. Therefore, It also was reached their adversity. He applied diverse tradition to emphasize that impressions about individual dimension or their adversity about a hard times.

조선후기 박제가(朴齊家)를 필두로 연작(連作) 회인시(懷人詩)가 지속적으 로 창작되었다. 본고에서 살핀 이중하(李重夏, 1846~1917)도 그 연장선상에 서 오언십이구의 ｢세모회인시(歲暮懷人詩)｣17수(首)를 통해 당대인 17인(人) 을 소개한 바 있다. 이중하는 1912년 세모에 회인시를 지었는데, 회인시의 대 상인물들은 모두 고인(故人)이 된 시점이었다. 조선후기 연작 회인시의 대상 인물은 당대 생존했던 인물들이 대부분이었는데, 이중하는 고인만을 대상으로 했다는 독특한 일면이 있다. 조선후기 연작 회인시는 칠언절구와 오언육구라는 형식적인 특징이 있었는데, 이중하는 오언십이구의 형식을 활용했다. 조선후기 연작 회인시처럼 이중하의 회인시 역시 대상인물과의 교유 정황 과 그 정감을 회억한 것이 주된 내용이다. 대상인물들도 갑신정변이나 갑오경 장, 나아가 을미사변과 경술국치를 직접 경험한 이들로, 이중하의 회인시에는 혼란했던 시대상이 담겨져 있고 당대 관료들의 정치행적도 소개되어 있다. 이 중하는 개화에 적극 동참한 인물인데, 회인시에서 언급한 김병시(金炳始)나 신기선(申箕善), 송백옥(宋伯玉) 등은 개화보다는 보수적 입장을 견지했던 인 물이다. 또한 정범조(鄭範朝)나 조병호(趙秉鎬) 등은 국익을 우선시하는 민족 주의적 입장에서 개화를 추진했으며, 김홍집(金弘集) 등은 개화의 핵심세력이 었다. 물론 개인적인 교유에서 비롯된 것이지만, 각기 현실 대응 양상이 다른 이들을 회인시에서 소개하면서 그들의 정치행적에 대해 간략하게 언급한 것 은 혼란한 국정을 극복하고자 한 다각적인 그들의 노력을 모두 긍정했다는 의 미이다. 더욱이 이들의 현실 대응 양상 및 정치행적을 모두 우국충정으로 연 결시킨 점이 이를 반증한다. 이중하는 회인시에서 대상인물과의 지기(知己)임을 선언하면서 그들의 회 재불우를 탄식했다. 그러나 이들의 불우는 개인적인 차원에서 기인한 것이 아 니라, 당대 혼란했던 시대상과 맞물려 있었다는 점도 부각시켰다. 결국 난국 의 타개를 위해 다각적으로 노력했지만, 결실을 맺지 못한 채 고인이 되고 말 았으니, 이 역시 회재불우의 인식과 맞닿는 지점이다. 개인적인 교유에 대한 감회나 난국의 시대에서 기인한 회재불우의 측면을 강조하기 위해 다양한 고 사(故事)를 활용한 점도 주목할 만하다.
