This study conducted 8-week's training for maximal muscular strength of lower limbs for four female shot putters in total including two members of the national team of female shot put and the country's two high-ranking players, to examine influence of training for shot putters' muscular strength of lower limbs on their records. The study reached conclusion as below. Firstly, mean value of Leg Press in 8-week's training for maximal muscular strength of lower limbs increased by 7kg from 161kg before training to 168kg thereafter, while mean value of Dead Lift increased by 9kg from 144kg to 153kg. In addition, mean value of Leg Extension increased by 9kg from 109kg to 118kg and mean value of Squat increased by 6kg from 155kg to 161kg. Secondly, mean value of 8-week's shot put records increased by 22cm from 14m 98cm before training to 15m 20cm thereafter.
