The purpose of this study was to recognize and better understand the effects of Christian youth worker's calling and ego-resilience on burnout. The subjects in this study were the selected workers who were in charge of youth workers in Church. A survey was conducted, and the answer sheets from 200 respondents were analyzed. This study confirmed the results as follows. First, The results revealed that Christian youth worker's calling and ego-resilience showed significant negative correlations with burnout. Christian youth worker's calling had a negative effect on burnout. When the youth workers had higher levels of calling, the degree of its sub-factors and total score of burnout were lower. Second, Christian youth worker's ego-resilience had a negative effect on burnout. When the youth workers had higher levels of ego-resilience, the degree of its sub-factors and total score of burnout were lower. The youth worker's ego-resilience had a greater influence than did ego-resilience on burnout. These results can help to solve and prevent the problems of burnout amongst youth workers by better understanding the psychological variables which have an effect on them.

본 연구의 목적은 기독교 청소년 사역자의 소명의식과 심리내적 변인인 자아탄력성이 탈진에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 본 연구를 위해 교회에서 청소년 사역을 담당하고 있는 사역자 200명을 대상으로 조사 실시되었다. 본 연구를 통해서 확인된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기독교 청소년 사역자의 소명의식과 심리내적 변인인 자아탄력성은 탈진과 부적 상관관계를 지닌 것으로 나타 났으며, 청소년 사역자의 소명의식이 높을수록 탈진의 전체와 하위요인에서 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 탈 진을 덜 경험하는 것으로 밝혀졌다,둘째, 기독교 청소년 사역자의 자아탄력성에 있어서는, 위기대처에 대한 자아탄 력성이 높을수록 탈진의 전체와 하위요인에서 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 탈진을 덜 경험하는 것으로 밝혀 졌다. 또한 청소년 사역자의 자아탄력성이 소명의식보다 탈진에 대해 더 큰 영향력을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 청소년 사역자의 탈진에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 규명함으로써 탈진의 예방과 그에 따른 문제점 해소에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 나타났다.
