The ladder used to play a random ladder game yields a permutation. Given a permution σ, there are many ladders corresponding to σ. Let λn be the smallest positive integer of rungs of a ladder such that there is a ladder corresponding to σwhich has rungs not more than λn for any σ∈Sn. A ladder A is called a minimal spanning ladder if ν(A)=λn and there is a subladder B of A corresponding to σfor any σ ∈Sn. We investigate some properties of minimal spanning ladders and we obtain a lower bound of λn .
