This paper adopts parallel research method to compare fiction of South Korea writer Huangxiying and Chinese writer Liuqingbang, among whose works we can draw the comparative analysis on the stray working group, get an insight into their living situations between the two countries in the industrialization era, and examine the differences among the stray people as well as the reasons in various social cultral backgrounds. From my perspective, this parallel research not only further broadens the culture research, but also plays an important role in social research. In fact, South Korea and China have accomplished economic growth rapidly. Consequently, however, the following destructiveness reveals much controdiction and side-effects from the point of social balance. In an extreme case, under environment of the highly developed economy,tens of thousands of rural residents swarm into cities and lead a homeless and miserable life, and this is the common social problem facing the two countries. Huang xiying and Liuqingbang reflect this kind of social problem in their works,concerning the problem of their existence, and describing the similarities in their life featured in alienation from city and disdress. However, due to the social, culture differences and the divided perspectives of creating, we can see the differneces of the alienation that the stray people experience.

본고는 유랑노동자에 대해 다룬 한국 황석영과 중국 유경방의 소설에 대한 비교분석을 통하여 산업화시대에 나타난 양국 유랑노동자들의 삶의 현실에 대해 살펴보면서 서로 다른 사회문화적 환경에서 나타난 유랑노동 자들의 유사성과 차이점 및 그 원인을 규명하려는 데 있다. 이러한 비교연구는 한중 양국의 문학연구를 더 심 화하고 확대할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 사회연구에도 의의 있으리라고 생각한다. 사실 한국과 중국은 현대화, 도시화과정을 통해 고도의 경제적 성장을 이루어냈지만, 사회적 균형이라는 의미 에서는 오히려 파행성을 드러냄으로써 여러 가지 모순과 부작용을 드러냈다. 특히 양국의 급속한 경제성장 속 에서 수많은 농촌 사람들이 도시로 몰려들어 유랑노동자로 전락되고 고달픈 삶을 겪게 되는 공통적인 사회문 제들을 초래하였다. 황석영과 유경방은이러한 사회문제를 작품에 반영하면서 유랑노동자들의 생존문제에 주 목하고 있으며 그들의작품 속에 묘사된 유랑노동자들은 이향하여 도시에 와서 소외를 받으면서 고달픈 삶을 살고있다는 공통점을 갖고 있다. 하지만 한중 양국의 부동한 사회상황, 문화, 창작시점 등의 차이로 말미암아 두 작가가 유랑민노동자들이 겪고 있는 소외양상을 다룸에 있어서 일정한 차이를 보이고 있다.
