The exhibition, 'Folded Maps/Unfolded Cities' consists of various mediums of object installation, videoperformance, and digital prints. The works derived from the common pocket map form an organicconnection among different mediums, which let viewers to see the works under the condition of successivestructures. Object works are clarified into the structural collision, the simultaneous state, and the organizationof line, plane, and color. This clarification means the reorganization of consciousness in which concentrationand dispersion arise simultaneously in the urbanization. Video performance tells the aspects of bothreflecting the inner mind and secondary analogon. The whole process of artmaking boils down to theremediation of media art discourse in which traditional painting, photography, and new media are broughttogether. In all that respect, the shifting among various mediums connotes the connection among differentcontexts which brings the way to examine the new integration of a society and an individual life.
