There are prevalent shortage of stories in the content industry. Technical advance in the new digital mediahas introduced a plethora of screens that needs to be filled with content day and night. Continuous andsteady supply of good stories are critical for content industry. Creating stories require authors who are highlyeducated and professionally trained with general knowledge of the world, writing talent and creativity,However, with all the preparation cannot guarantee a success in the market. Such difficulty in creatingstories is the biggest obstacle for the content industry. This paper presents a model that illustrates a way tocreate stories in volume through combining concepts of 'expanded' transmedia storytelling and contentecosystem.

모든 콘텐츠의 근원이 되는 이야기의 부족은 미디어 기술의 발전과 새로운 미디어의 등장으로 시급한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이야기를 만드는 공정은 인문적 소양과 문화적 이해를 기반으로 오랜 교육과 전문적지식 그리고 개개인의 창의성과 재능을 필요로 하며 많은 사전 준비를 바탕으로 적잖은 기간을 소요하여만들어지지만 그 모든 준비에도 불구하고 결과물의 성패는 언제나 불분명하다. 이러한 이야기 만들기의어려움은 콘텐츠산업 발전의 가장 큰 걸림돌이다. 본 논문에서는 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링과 협력 기반의생태계를 키워드로 잡아 사례와 고찰을 중심으로 ‘트랜스미디어 스토리텔링 생태계’라는 개념적 모델을제시한다.
