The purpose of this study is to find out the evaluation for the dormitory site planning of dormitory students in 28 National University. The first consideration is to figure out concepts and tools for domitory planning. Second considerlation is to figure out the analysis of real site plans and students consciousness which are included the cross-tab analysis and like/dislike 5-scale evalution method. The first considerlation is figure out comfort, functionality, safety and density as 4 site planning evaluation indicators. The second considerlation is figure out such as central facility is sited by well-fare and support facility type(39.3%), dinning facility type(25.0%) and others. But, more students(40.6%) want dinning facility as a central facility in consciousness. As a result of analyzing evaluation of students are as follows : First, the degree of complexity access-ability of the dormitory was positive. The exposure of eyes evaluated between the internal facilities are somewhat negative, dormitory gaze from the outside to be very negative. Second, it was confirmed that the method of division of 4 site palanning indicators and other 12-sub elements. But in the future, we need to change our considerlation about these indicators and elements. We expect more studies, which includes various approaches as campus site planning and resident building design in the domitory.

2000년대 이후 국내 대부분의 대학들은 학생수 감소 추세에도 불구하고 교육인적자원부에서 제시한 기준면적의 충족 및 우수한 학생유치를 목적으로 과다한 시설확장을 표명하고 있으며, 그 시설확장의 중심에는 생활관이 포함되어 있다. 이를 통해 국내·외로부터 우수한 학생들을 적극적으로 유치하려는 대학들은 경쟁적으로 생활관을 확충하고 있는 추세이며, 생활관은 질적, 양적 측면에서 괄목할만한 변화를 거듭해 오고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 생활관 영역을 대상으로 주요시설의 배치계획적 특성 및 계획지표에 대한 이용자 평가를 실시하여 향후 생활관 주요시설의 배치계획에 관한 기초자료를 얻고자하는데 그 목적을 둔다. 이상의 실태 및 의식조사의 분석결과를 바탕으로 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 생활관 시설배치계획에 직,간접적으로 영향을 미칠 수 있다고 판단하여 제안된 4가지 평가지표(쾌적, 기능, 밀도, 안전 등) 및 해당 인자들(환경, 시선, 중심, 접근, 복지, 학생수용률, 학생수 등)은 건물유형 등 각 세부유형과의 교차분석에서 모두 유의미한 수준에서 차별화를 보이고 있어, 이들 제안적 지표들은 향후 대학 생활관 배치계획을 위한 하나의 지표들로서 유용할 것으로 판단된다.
