While environmental problems become severe recently, human recognizes that there is a limitation for the original methods of environmental problems, conducted by human. And, they start to recognize that their attitude for ecosystem except for human must be changed so as to solve the problem ultimately. In this situation, animal ethics gives ethical position to other animals except for human and human makes an effort to recognize them as an object of ethics. Representatively, Peter Singer insisted on the guaranteeing of interests in animals who have sentience through the animal liberation theory. And, Tom Regan insisted that we must consider animals’own rights. In addition, Gray Francioni insisted that animals who are subordinated to economic theory must be relieved through the abolition of human’s ownership for animals. However, when considering their discussion through the Dooyeweerd modality theory, there were errors during the application of subjective modality and objective modality. And, they were caused by excessive expansion and application of ethical modality. For drawing the Christian animal ethics, modality theory was applied to the discussion related to livestock, wild animals and carnivorous animals insisted by animal moral philosophers, discussion on Christian animal ethics was tried and discussion was progressed for its application in the context of Christian environmental education.
