I want to find a new christian educational model for today, to overcome the crisis and limitation of Korean public education without religious education. It can be find in the Christian Alternative School. For this first of all is required the preceding study on necessity of the Christian Alternative School’s Establishment. Therefore the propose of the study is to reveal necessity of the Christian Alternative School’s establishment. The reason for necessity of the Christian Alternative School’s Establishment is explained in two perspectives: The first reason is that the crisis of public education, namely school violence and moral education. The second reason is that the education for christian value, namely the education based on the christian anthropology and christian worldview. Especially religious education has effect on molding of moral character. Moral education can be weakened in education which does not include religious education and also its crisis includes a danger losing the true goal of knowledgeacquirement. Based on the account, Korean society where does not have any christian basis needs Christian Alternative School, a place for the Christian education where the Christian gospel’s value can be handed down in connection with other studies, namely intellect and virtue. Finally, this thesis suggests a systematic and concrete base-study for directions of Christian Alternative School in the educational-theological point of view.

한국 공교육의 위기와 한계를 극복하기 위해서는 새로운 기독교 교육적인 모델이 요구되는데, 기독교 대안학교는 이를 위한 좋은 모델이 될 수 있다. 그런데 좋은 기 독교 대안학교 교육을 위해서는 기독교의 인간관과 세계관을 토대로 한 기독교 대 안학교의 교육 이념 및 교육 목적과 목표 그리고 교육과제와 교육과정 및 방법론 등 의 방향성에 대한 교육철학적 논의들이 교육 신학적 관점에서 충분히 고려된 토대 연구가필요하다. 이는하나의방대한연구이다. 그리고기독교대안학교설립의중 요성에 대한 인식은 현실적인 필요성과 교육신학적인 필요성에 기인해야 하기 때문 에 이러한 토대연구를 위해서는 먼저 기독교 대안학교 설립의 필요성에 대한 숙고 가 우선적으로 선행 되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 기독교 대안학교의 필요성에 대한 연구로써, 기독교 대안학교의 필요성에 대한 이유를 두 가지 관점에서 제기하였다: 하나는 국가 공교육의 위기(학교 폭력과 인성교육의 부재) 극복과, 다른 하나는 기 독교적 가치 교육(기독교 인간관과 기독교 세계관에 근거한 교육)을 위해서이다. 기 독교적인 토대를 가지고 있지 않는 한국사회에서 기독교 복음의 가치를 지식교육과 인성교육 과의 관계 속에서 전수해줄 수 있는 기독교 대안학교 설립은 절실히 요구 된다. 이에 본 논문은 기독교대안학교 토대연구를 위한 일종의 사전작업으로써 기 독교 대안학교 설립의 필요성을‘현재 공교육의 문제점’과‘교육의 가치문제’를 중 심으로 논의하였다. 이 논의와 더불어 기독교 대안학교의 교육방향성에 대한 교 육-신학적 토대연구의 방향성을 간략히 언급한 뒤 이를 위한 후속연구의 필요성을 제기하였다.
