This article attempts to study about the productivity of the mythical reading and the productive desires about cultural contents of Samgukyusa storytelling, focusing on the interpretation of a poet SeoJungJu's Samgukyusa poems. The Strange stories of Samgukyusa are created into many cultural contents such as play, musical, drama, movie, and festivals. In 2012, there are many cultural Samgukyusa contents. This article tries to retrospect into the imagination of Samgukyusa with mythical reading of a poet SeoJungJu's poems. The Shilla was the complete cosmos to a poet SeoJungJu. He sought to find the national archtype through the thoughts of the Shilla. The mythical reading of Samgukyusa made a poet SeoJungJu imagine creatively and mythically. Through the SeoJungJu's poems, we can find the cultural productivity of Samgukyusa. Finally, we can connect the Samgukyusa cultural contents with SeoJungJu's poems. Myths of Ilyeon and SeoJungJu are the same viewpoints about the world. In this article, we can compare the SeoJungJu's poetic desires with Ilyeon's storytelling desires.

현재 <삼국유사>는 다양한 각도로 재조명되고 있고 그 부가가치는 더욱 주목받고 있다. 본고는 이러한 문화적인 <삼국유사>의 풍부한 상 상력을 미당 서정주가 <삼국유사>를 직접적 소재로 활용한 시세계와 연결시켜 현대적 문화 욕망으로 풀어가고자 한다. 미당은 『신라초』, 『동천』,『질마재 신화』를 통해 <삼국유사>속 신라의 상상력을 작품 안으 로 끌어들였다. 6.25 전쟁을 경험한 시인은 신라를 삼국통일의 정신으로 보고 완성된 민족의 원형을 찾으려했다. 서정주가 <삼국유사>의 상상 력을 활용한 것에 주목한 몇몇 논자들은 주로 설화세계와 불교세계의 <삼국유사>의 상상력이 작품 안에 어떻게 활용되고 있는지 살피고 있 다. 그러나 본고는 연구의 대상을 <삼국유사> 이야기를 전면적으로 다 시 풀어쓴 서정주의 시를 통해 현대 문화콘텐츠의 생성 욕망과 만나보 기로 하겠다. 서정주가 <삼국유사>를 읽는 과정은 신화적 독서의 과정 이었고 그러한 신화적 상상력은 서정주의 현실의 창이 되었고 미래를 읽어내는 만화경으로 작용한다. 독서는 과거의 이야기를 독자가 읽는 시점에서 이해하고 반영하게 함으로써 오늘날의 역사에 영향을 끼친다 는 것이다. 서정주의 <삼국유사> 독해 시들에 등장하는 다양한 현실 독해 원리들은 신화적 독서의 여정이라고 할 수 있다.
