영어

One of the major topics in 21st century is about humans and environment. This is because the destruction of ecology caused by the development of materialism reached a serious situation and even has threatened human beings’ survival. In this reality, the criticism and self-reflection on the Western view of nature which has led Western materialism so far, called for the Eastern view of nature as a powerful alternative to overcome the current fetters. Both and are the movies based on the Eastern thoughts. In particular, took dragons, the animal which have special symbolic meanings, as a material and dealt with existing misconceptions and overlooked aspects of the relationship between humans and nature. It contains the message that humans and nature will be able to coexist and mutually complement each other if we break away from the human-oriented unilateral view of nature. To see(觀) and to look(看) each represents the Eastern and Western view of nature. It contains the message that humans will be able to lead an ideal life by switching their perspectives from looking to seeing, which inheres the Eastern thoughts.
