The main purpose of this study is to draw out social and cultural implications of mobile chatting language in relating to certain historical movements or those spirits. As a new way of communication in our society, mobile chatting communication which combines the characteristics of mobile technology and the needs of contemporaries shows similarities to spirits of postmodernism. Defamiliarization, pastiche and fragmentation are the subjects of specific analysis of study. And to conclude, the ultimate subject of this study is to see newly created series of mobile chatting language as a concept of 'becoming' or 'devenir' by Gille Deleuze. Through this, this study would like to suggest that the language of mobile chatting communication can be understood as a dynamic power of creation that ceaselessly produces differences from traditional language as well as society.

이 연구는 모바일 테크놀로지의 특성과 현대인의 커뮤니케이션 속성이 결합되어 우리나라 사회의 새로운 커뮤니케이션 문화 현상으로 자리 잡은 모바일 채팅 커뮤니케이션의 언어 활용을 인류 역사에서 나타난 다양한 이즘 혹은 운동정신과 결부시켜봄으로써 이러한 사회문화 현상에 대한 함의를 이끌어내는 것이다. 이에 대한 구체적인 분석으로는, 낯설게 하기(defamiliarization), 혼성모방(pastiche) 그리고 주체적 단편화 (fragmentation) 등으로 구분하여 그 실례들을 분석했으며, 이는 공통적으로 전통적인 사유방식과는 달리 역 동적인 창조를 상정하는 힘들의 집합, 즉 생성이라고 할 수 있다. 결론적으로 이 연구의 궁극적인 목적은 우리 사회에서 벌어지고 있는 언어 활용 현상이 단지 변화에 대응한 단순한 쾌락적 활동이 아닌, 전통과 규범에 대응하여 새로운 인식에 도전하는 생성의 개념으로 바라봄으로써 기존 질서에 대한 차이를 역동적 인 창조로 이해하고자 함이다.
