The purpose of this study was to analyze skill factor of performance in PGA tour during 33 years(1980~2012). For this study, 9 variables were taken based on PGA wep pages. For analysis it was used to examine the statistics records of the players(average : 186, total: 2,080) in PGA tour. The data was sorted on th SPSSWIN Ver. 18.0; a descriptive analysis was carried out to examine for significant basic data of skill factors, a relative analysis was used to analyze a correlation coefficient between the variables, multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze for the effective factor of the variables about money leader and scoring average. The conclusions were written: The first, score average, driving distance, putting average, birdie average were constantly increased during every year from 1980 to 2000. but they were stagnant from the beginning of 2000 to 2012. The second, birdie average, greens in regulation, scrambling, putting per rounding had a effective correlation coefficient with money leader and scoring average in yealy PGA tour. The third, by turns, greens in regulation, putting average, mone leader, birdie average, scrambling, driver distance had relatively higher contribution to money leader and birdie average, driving accuracy, putting average, drier distance had relatively higher contribution to scoring average.

연구에서는 미국 PGA투어대회의 1980년부터 2012년까지 비교적 오랜 기간인 총 33년간 투어에 참가한 선수들의 골프경기력 기록에 대한 기술요인 자료를 수집하여 기초통계 분석, 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 상금순위와 평균타수에 대한 골프 경기력 기술요인의 상관관계와 기여도를 정확하게 파악하고자 하였다. 결과로는 첫째, 상금, 평균타수, 드라이버비거리, 평균버디수, 평균퍼팅수는 1980년부터 지속적인 경기력향상을 보이다 2000년과 2006년을 기점으로 정체되어 있는 결과를 보여주었다. 둘째, 드라이버정확도, 그린적중률, 평균버디수, 스크램블링의 기술요인은 상금순위 보다는 평균타수에 대한 상관관계가 전체적으로 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 평균타수에 대한 기여도는 그린적중률, 평균퍼팅수, 상금순위, 평균버디수, 스크램블링, 평균비거리 순이며, 상금순위에 대한 기여도는 평균버디수, 드라이버정확도, 평균퍼팅수, 평균비거리 순으로 5%수준(p<.05)에서 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
