The purpose of this study is to show the situation of traditional market modernization that is supported by government public fund by analyzing how many Busan traditional markets want to apply for modernization. This study will also show the characteristics of the local markets and find out the demand what kind of facilities and the specific types the local markets want. This study wants to be a source to find out any problems of the support program and indicate where the project is supposed to head to in the future. The markets I selected 68 traditional markets which they have set the traditional market plan and have applied for modernization at least once over 3 years from 2011 to 2013 in Busan. This data is based on 123cases of 3year cumulative business plan from 14 public offices in Busan.

본연구의 목적은 부산광역시 전통시장들의 시설현대화사업 신청현황 분석을 통하여 정부의 국비지원사업으로 이루어지고 있는 전통시장 시설현대화사업의 현장 상황을 파악하는데 기본목적이 있다. 아울러 시설현대화사업을 추진하고 있는 지역 시장들의 특성을 파악하고, 그들이 필요로 하는 시설의 수요와 세부 종류별 현황을 분석 할 것이다. 향후 지역의 전통시장 시설현대화사업과 관련하여 지원사업의 문제점파악과 연구 방향을 설정하는데 있어 기본 자료로서활용이 되고자 한다. 연구대상시장은 2011년부터 2013년까지 최근 3년간 최소 1회 이상 전통시장 시설현대화사업계획을 수립하고 신청한 부산지역 전통시장 68개소를 선정하였다. 분석의 기초자료는 부산광역시의 14개 구청에서 작성한 세부사업계획서 3년 누적, 123건를 기반으로 하였다.
