This research has been conducted regarding Korean churches in low birthrate, aging society and its design of ministries. Korean society has been experiencing rapid changes in population policy and aging society. Moving into aging society may possibly bring burdens to society. Decrease of population and increase of family dependents may cause chaos in social structure. Without enough discussion about increase of family dependency and the influence of aging society, our society will definitely be in confusion. It is not an appropriate attitude to just bring up the problem of low birthrate without considering social and environmental factors. If you only see the present situation with the pessimistic perspective, you cannot discover the hope for the future. Fluctuating social factors are not easily affected by a single cause but by complex causes. Aging society and the birthrate are related. Low birthrate and aging society are important issues in the modern society. In the introduction, the problem of low birthrate and aging society are urgent issues to solve because that issues give the serious affects for the cease to exist of the churches in South Korea. Also, the design of ministries and the alternative policies for the future of the church and healthy society. This research is a proposal for the Korean churches and the design of ministries in aging society and population policy, which may support and contribute to ministries by sharing social burdens of dependency and building up the training system. As population has been decreased, the number of congregations of the churches has been decreased as well. Korean churches not only need a solid solution for this threat on ministries, but also the restoration on the function of the church. This may lead to pursue evangelism as well. The main topic of this research is facing with social circumstances and settling them to restore the church functions.

본 연구는 저출산고령사회의 한국교회를 위한 목회설계에 대한 연구이다. 한국사회는 유래 없는 빠른 속도로 저출산고령사회가 되고 있다. 고령사회로 의 진입은 여러 가지로 사회에 부담이 될 수 있다. 생산인구의 감소와 부양인 구의 증가는 사회구조와 혼란을 발생시킬 수 있다. 고령사회가 미치는 영향에 대한 충분한 논의없이 사회는 저출산고령사회에 대한 혼돈에 빠져있다. 저출 산에 대한 사회문화적 환경요인은 고려하지 않고 단순히 출산률이 낮아진다는 것만으로 문제시 하는 것도 바람직한 미래를 설계할 수 없는 태도이다. 현재 상황을 비관적으로만 본다면 미래에 대한 희망을 찾을 수는 없다. 사회변동요 인은 단일요소만으로 영향을 받지는 않는다. 복합요인으로 인해 결정되는데 고령사회와 출산률은 깊은 상관관계를 가지고 있다. 현대사회가 안고 있는 중요한 문제, 저출산과 고령시대에 대처하기 위한 목 회설계를 다루고 있다. 서론에서 현재 우리나라에서 저출산과 평균수명의 증 가로 인한 고령화 추세에 대한 대책이 시급함을 문제로 제기하고 있다. 한국 사회의 이러한 문제는 한국교회에도 부정적 영향을 주고 있다. 저출산과 고령 사회에 대한 교회의 정책적 대안을 제시하여 교회의 미래비전과 건강한 사회 조성을 위한 목회설계를 제시한다. 본 연구에서는 저출산고령사회에서의 한국교회의 사역설계에 대한 제언으 로 고령사회에서의 노인인구의 부양에 대한 사회적 책임을 분담하고 양육을 위한 시스템을 구축함으로써 목회에 기여할 수 있다. 또한 인구감소와 더불어 성도의 감소로 인한 목회환경도 위협받게 되는 상황에서 교회의 본연의 기능 을 회복함과 더불어 전도사역에 연계할 수 있도록 한다. 당면한 사회적인 과제 를 해결함과 동시에 교회의 본연의 기능을 회복할 수 있는 주제를 다룬다.
