Annual report surveyed by Christian Ethics Movement of Korea for last three years shows the Korean Church’s present credibility in her society. Many agree that one of reasons the Korean Church is loosing her credibility is in ministers. Theological school and theologians in it cannot avoid their responsibility. Yet, theological education is not the only contributor to this matter. This study called the Korean Church to account for this as well. This thesis limited the scope of responsibility to theological education and the Korean Church. As a result, it challenged theological school to emphasize ‘praxis’ that theology genuinely has, to integrate major to major or personal to ministry, and to strengthen community through small group mentoring. It also proposed the sponsorship of consideration, recognition, time and finance, internship provided by school for churches, and job(ministry) fair for both sides, students and churches. By doing this, their relationship will be much friendly(short term goal), their mutual understanding and mutual support will expand more(mid term goal), and faithful ministers who well prepared will be nurtured(long term goal) due to improving soil that inevitably comes after achievement of short and mid term goals.

최근 3년간 기독교윤리실천운동이 실시한 설문조사는 한국사회에서 기독 교에 대한 신뢰도가 어느 정도인지 잘 보여준다. 한국교회의 신뢰도가 낮아지 는 주요한 요인 중 하나는 목회자의 문제라고 보는데 이견은 많지 않을 것이 다. 자격 미달의 목회자를 양산하는 책임이 먼저 신학교육을 담당하는 신학대 학과 그 기관에서 교육을 담당하는 신학교수들에게 있음을 부인할 수 없다. 그 러나 신학대학만이 유일한 원인제공자는 아니다. 한국교회에도 책임이 있다. 본 연구는 지면상 한국사회에서 신뢰도가 추락한 한국교회의 문제를 목회자의 문제로 한정하고 그 문제에 대한 책임소재를 신학교육과 한국교회에 있다고 제한해 논의하였다. 그 결과 신학교육의 주체인 대학이 이론이 지니는 실천성 을 적극적으로 수행하도록 격려하고, 전공과 전공 또는 개인과 목회 통합프로 그램을 개설하고, 소그룹 멘토링을 통한 공동체성의 강화를 피력하였다. 동시 에 한국교회의 배려와 인정, 시간과 물질의 스폰서십, 대학이 제공하는 인턴 십, 상호연대강화를 위한 사역박람회를 제안하였다. 이를 통해 대학과 교회의 연대가 강화되고 목회자와 신학자 및 신학생의 밀착이 확대됨으로 상호이해 및 상호지원이 확충될 것이다. 이러한 토양개선으로부터 좀 더 시간이 지난 후 에야 비로소 바른 목회자 양성이라는 목표를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.
