The purpose of this study was to effects of volleyball and disc training on body composition indices, balance activity and isokinetic strength in college students majored physical education. The subjects of this study were total 24 persons(control group: 12, exercise group: 12). Subjects in 2groups performed their assigned volleyball and disc training 2h/day, 3day/week for 12weeks. In measurements index, body composition elements were determined body weight, percent body fat, body mass index(BMI), and waist hip ratio(WHR). And balance activity factors were determined static balance(right foot, left foot) and dynamic balance(right foot, left foot). Knee joint isokinetic strength(60deg/sec) factors were determined left/right knee extension and flexion. Data obtained at pre and post test were compared among two groups test utilizing two-way ANOVA with repeated measures. The results of this present study were as follows: In body composition factors, body weight, %body fat, BMI, and WHR had significant decreased between pre and post 12weeks volleyball and disc training program in all groups. In balance activity factors, static balance and dynamic balance body had significant decreased between pre and post 12weeks volleyball and disc training program in all groups. In isokinetic strength factors, right/left knee extension and flexion had significant increased between pre and post 12weeks volleyball and disc training program in all groups. It was concluded that college students majored physical education women were improved by volleyball and disc exercise program was more effective for enhancing weight loss, balance activity and muscle control.
