For establishment of identity of the Christian social welfare, this study arranged the component scope(objective, main agent, object, method, financial resources) of Christian social welfare. For the foregoing, this study used literature review, interview with experts and the method of Delphi survey. Main results of study are as follows. First, evangelism and growth of church shall be the natural conclusion of social welfare activities of church and growth itself cannot be the objective of social welfare activities of church. Second, practice of social welfare by Christians is to declare themselves that they are the Christians and its objective and method refer to the Biblical case. Third, all men shall be included in the object of Christian social welfare. Fourth, in putting Christian social welfare into practice, formality such as prayer, praise and service are not the ones that should be necessarily expressed or excluded, and must be applied in consideration of situation and condition. Lastly, in fulfilling Christian social welfare, financial support from external organizations shall be used discreetly within reasonable limits without damaging identity of Christianity.

본 연구에서는 기독교사회복지학의 정체성 확립을 위해 기독교사회복지실천의 구성 영역(목적, 주체, 대상, 방법, 재원)에 대하여 정리해 보았다. 이를 위해 문헌고찰, 전문가 인터뷰, 델파이 조사의 방법을 활용하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전도 및 교회성장은 교회사회복지활동의 자연스러운 귀결이어야지 그 자체가 교회사회복지활동의 목적이 될 수는 없다. 둘째, 기독교사회복지실천은 스스로 그리스도인임을 밝히는 그리스도인의 사회복지실천으로 그 목적과 방법이 성경적인 경우를 말한다. 셋째, 기독교사회복지의 대상에는 모든 인간이 포함되어야 한다. 넷째, 기독교사회복지를 실천함에 있어 기도, 찬양, 예배 등과 같은 형식은 반드시 표현되어야 하거나 배제되어야 하는 것이 아니라 상황과 여건을 고려해서 적용해야 한다. 마지막으로 기독교사회복지를 실천하는데 있어 외부 기관의 재정적 지원은 기독교의 정체성을 훼손하지 않는 범위에서 신중하게 사용해야 한다.
