Each church is emphasizing evangelism today, and various means about evangelism and seminar are presented continuance, but it looks hard to form fruit of evangelism. Each church is discouraged because a fruit is not formed as try, and each church asks if evangelism can be practiced efficiently to this days. Is efficient evangelism impossible in reality today? This paper is presenting characteristic and theological reply. We need ways that read flowing of days for efficient evangelism and correspond in the stream, but when is not efficient even if we try so, we must inspect the exceedingly essential part. One among the essential parts has an affinity with church community. That is, church community is a vessel that contains contents of gospel, and a place makes church members experience substance of gospel, so church community becomes the base of power that can do evangelism efficiently. Therefore, if church community is not healthy, churches lose the biggest institution that causes power of evangelism, and evangelism focuses on gathering and filling man with churches disappearing intrinsic nature of evangelism. Then, where is the most important special quality that lets church be church? This paper prescribes it the communityness of church, and clears that 'Koinonia' is the extremely important element that prescribes the church communityness. By the way, the vertical Koinonia with God is a basis premise. It allows the horizontal Koinonia with church members to be possible, and the horizontal Koinonia made the social Koinonia for unbelievers be possible. This was the evangelism method of Primitive Church, and became the method of greatly efficient evangelism since the beginning of christianity history. Even if there is no special means, if churches keep pace with natural function because churches are healthy, evangelism can be practiced efficiently. However, today churches focus on the setting in growth rather than the health and problem of intrinsic nature of church. As a result, the emphasis on evangelism for growth is widespread in churches. So with losing the power of evangelism through the church community, churches become the situation that encourages evangelism that emphasizes a individual's spiritual gift and ability. Hereupon, this paper indicates and improves wrong segments that churches commit today being to practice evangelism, and is presenting a practical and theological plan for doing evangelism efficiently.

오늘날 각 교회마다 전도를 강조하고 있고, 전도에 관한 다양한 방법과 세미나가 계속 제시되고 있지만, 전도의 열매를 맺는 것은 힘들어 보인다. 노력한 만큼 열매가 맺어지지 않아 낙담하기도 하고 이 시대에 전도가 효율적으로 실천될 수 있는가 묻기도 한다. 과연 오늘 이 시대는 효율적인 전도가 불가능한 것인가? 본 논문은 이에 대한 성격적이고 신학적인 답변을 제시하고 있다. 효율적인 복음전도를 위해서는 시대의 흐름을 읽고 그 흐름에 상응하는 방식도 필요하지만, 그렇게 노력해도 효율적이지 못할 때에는 가장 본질적인 부분을 점검해야 한다는 것이다. 그 본질적인 부분 중에 하나가 교회 공동체와 밀접한 관계가 있다. 즉, 교회 공동체는 복음의 내용을 담고 있는 그릇이며, 구성원들이 복음의 내용을 경험하는 주된 장이 되기에 복음전도를 효율적으로 할 수 있는 동력의 근원이 된다. 그러므로 교회 공동체가 건강하지 못하면 교회는 전도의 동력을 일으키는 가장 큰 기관을 상실하게 되며, 전도는 본질이 사라진 채 사람을 모으고 채우는 것에 초점을 두게 된다. 그렇다면 교회를 교회되게 만드는 가장 큰 특성이 어디에 있는가? 본 논문은 이것을 교회 공동체성이라고 규정하고 ‘코이노니아’가 교회의 공동체성을 규정하는 가장 중요한 요소임을 밝혔다. 그런데 코이노니아는 하나님과의 수직적인 코이노니아가 기본 전제이며, 그것을 바탕으로 교회 구성원끼리의 수평적인 코이노니아가 가능하고, 또 그것을 바탕으로 불신자들을 향한 대 사회적인 코이노니아가 가능하다고 주장하였다. 이것이 초대교회의 전도방식이었고, 기독교 역사 이래로 가장 효율적인 전도의 방식이 되었다. 특별한 방법이 없어도 교회가 건강하여 본연의 기능을 감당한다면 복음전도는 효율적으로 실천되어 질 수 있다는 것이다. 그러나 오늘날 교회는 교회의 건강과 본질의 문제에 초점을 먼저 맞추기 보다는 성장에 더 초점이 맞추어져 성장을 위한 전도의 강조가 만연되어 있는 입장이다. 그러다보니 교회 공동체를 통한 복음전도의 동력은 상실한 채, 한 개인의 은사와 능력을 강조한 전도를 독려하는 입장이 된 것이다. 이에 본 논문은 복음전도를 실천함에 있어서 오늘날 교회가 저지르는 잘못된 부분을 지적하고 개선하며 효율적으로 전도하기 위한 실천적이고도 신학적인 방안을 제시하고 있다.
