This study archival studies the last outside of the main research trends by looking at the archival studies oral history research in learning to be struggling to deal with that. Recently been actively building oral history archives in various attempts to participate in academia is increasing. Oral history collection-oriented research in the scope of the existing building and the archive is extended to take advantage of because. oral history research in archival studies of physical metallurgy, technical support is limited to the part. Existing records of collecting and technology, such as the history of organized biological control system that combines oral history materials simply staying at the level of reality. Therefore, this study recognizes these limitations and oral history research in archival studies to deal with in the academic studies. 본 연구는 최근 국외 기록학계의 주요 연구 동향을 살펴봄으로써 기록학에서 구술사 연구를 하기 위해 고민해야 할 점을 다룬다. 최근 활발히 진행되고 있는 구술 아카이브즈 구축을 위한 다양한 시도들에서 기록학계의 참여가 높아지고 있다. 구술사 연구의 범위가 기존의 수집 위주에서 아카이브 구축과 활용에까지 확대되고 있기 때문이다. 그러나 기록 학의 구술사 연구는 물리적, 기술적 지원이라는 부분에 한정되어 있다. 기존의 기록물의 수집 및 기술, 정리 등의 기록학적 관리 체계에 구술기록을 단순하게 접목시키는 수준에 서 머무르고 있는 현실이다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 한계를 인식하고 기록학에서 구술 사를 다루는 것이 학문적·이론적 접근으로부터 시작해야 한다는 전제를 갖고, 최근 기 록학에서의 기술적 접근 중심의 회의로부터 시작한 다양한 논의를 구술사 연구에 접목해 보고자 한다.
