This paper is a search for metadata elements for oral history materials. Especially, focused on Korea National Archives of the Arts’s Oral history project for Korean Contemporary History of Arts. Oral history materials is a records of production and it is also a kinds of information, which is managed and served. Thus it is necessary to maintain its context and sources. And it is necessary to integrate with other information which the institute serve. I investigated the previous researches and cases. And I propose the metadata elements which is applied the concept of FRBR, which is proposed by IFLA.

이 글은 구술기록의 기록물로서의 특성을 고려해서 그 맥락과 출처를 온전히 보존하 면서, 구술사 연구기관들이 보유하여 서비스하는 다른 자료들과의 효과적인 통합 정보서 비스가 가능한 메타데이터의 구조와 요소를 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 그 가운데에서도 국립 예술자료원이 수행하고 있는 예술사구술채록사업의 결과물의 기술을 위한 메타데이터 요 소를 산출하는 것을 궁극적인 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 이 글에서는 관련 선행연구의 결과를 간략하게 살펴보고, 선행 연구를 적용한 개별기관의 사례를 조사하고, 국립예술자 료원의 예술사구술채록사업의 현황과 특성, 정보서비스 현황을 개괄하고, 이에 따라 FRBR 개념을 반영한 구술기록 메타데이터 요소를 제안하였다.
