As it has been difficult to protect the copyright of the apps, smart phone users use illegally-copied apps more popularly, as a result, transparency and reliability of Android apps market has been decreasing. In this paper we present an illegally-copied app detector on Android platform in order to solve the problem. Since the detector is hidden, users can’t know whether the detector is executed and they can’t forcibly access and remove it. The detector is highly compatible to various Android platforms. And the detector distinguishes illegally-copied apps using the signature based forensic marking technology. It can effectively restrict detected the illegally-copied apps, which are stored or installed on internal/external memory.

스마트 폰에서 앱에 대한 저작권이 제대로 보호되지 못하면서, 불법으로 복제된 앱이 더욱 많이 사용되고 있으며, 결국 앱 마켓의 투명성과 신뢰성이 저하되고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 본 논문 에서는 안드로이드 플랫폼에서 사용할 수 있는 불법 복제 앱 탐지기를 제안한다. 불법 복제 앱 탐지 기는 사용자가 탐지기의 실행 여부를 알 수 없으며, 외부에서 강제로 접근하여 제거하지 못하는 은닉 성을 가지고 있다. 다양한 안드로이드 플랫폼에 적용될 수 있기 때문에 호환성이 높다는 장점이 있다. 또한 시그니쳐 기반의 포렌식 마킹 기법을 이용하여 앱의 불법 복제 여부를 판별한다. 내부/외부 메 모리에 설치되어 있거나 저장되어 있는 불법 복제 앱들을 탐지하여 해당 앱의 실행을 효과적으로 제 한할 수 있다.
