H-INFINITY CONTROLLER DESIGN FOR RESONATING GYROSCOPES USING SLOW VARYING PARAMETERS

Due to technical limits, It is extremely difficult to control the resonating gyroscope when it works at its high resonant frequency. As results, in order to control the resonating gyroscope, we will need to extract the dynamics of resonator from equations of motion which describe those dynamics of resonator including imperfections into equations with slow varying parameters. Using these extracted parameters will make it easier to design controllers for resonating gyroscope using digital signal processor devices. This paper is written to introduce a second-order gyroscope model using op-amp, of which characteristics are similar to resonating gyroscope model, and also H- infinity controller design for this gyroscope.
