The purpose of the present study was to examine the effects of endurance or resistance exercise training following weight lifting training on glycogen level of skeletal muscle/performance related factors in elite female weight lifter. For the purpose of this study, 8 female weight lifters were divided into resistance group (n=4) and endurance group (n=4). In body composition, body fat was markedly decreased after endurance training(p<.05). Compared to resistance training, MG (macroglycogen) level was significantly increased in endurance group(p<.05) after treatment. lactate level also significantly deceased in recovery time (10min, 20min) after snatch 1RM test(p<.05). These results show that weight lifter also need to endurance training for the situation of energy supply during exercise and lactate clearance after training.
